The Progressive Next Generation Initiative (PGNI) has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the entire Muslim Ummah across Nigeria and the world on the occasion of Maulud Nabiyy, the commemoration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad.
In a goodwill message signed by its Director of Media, Press and Publicity, Hon Mathias Zadok, the Initiative described the Maulud as a period of deep reflection on the exemplary life and teachings of the Prophet, which remain relevant for humanity.
According to the statement, The Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him ) lived a life rooted in compassion, humility, truthfulness, justice, and service to humanity.
“His teachings of peace, love, and unity remain a guiding light as we work together to build a progressive and prosperous nation.
PGNI urged Muslims and Nigerians of all faiths to emulate the Prophet’s virtues of tolerance, kindness, and selflessness. The group further called on citizens to continue praying for peace, unity, and sustainable development in Nigeria.
The statement added, “As we celebrate this Maulud, we pray that Allah (SWT) renews our faith, showers abundant blessings on our nation, and strengthens the bonds of brotherhood among all Nigerians.”
PGNI as a data analytics and grassroots research based organisation, reaffirmed its commitment to promoting peaceful coexistence, youth empowerment, and national unity, stressing that only through collective responsibility can Nigeria achieve her true potential.
