AYAGL further stated that the Nigerian Ports Authority has experienced improved performance under the current leadership, citing stronger institutional reforms and increased operational efficiency.
“Under his leadership, the Nigerian Ports Authority has witnessed improved operational efficiency, strengthened institutional reforms, and enhanced Nigeria’s standing in regional and international maritime engagements. These strides reflect not only professional excellence but also patriotism and dedication to national development,” the group said.
The youth organization also commended Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, for appointing Dr. Dantsoho to head the NPA, describing the decision as a demonstration of commitment to merit and strategic leadership.
“We equally extend our profound appreciation to His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, for the foresight and courage in appointing Dr. Dantsoho to this critical national assignment. This appointment has once again demonstrated Mr. President’s commitment to merit, capacity, and strategic leadership in driving the Renewed Hope Agenda,” the statement added.
The Assembly urged the President to sustain the trend of appointing competent and result-oriented individuals into key positions across the country’s economic and governance sectors.
“We, the Northern Youth and indeed Nigerians at large, respectfully urge Mr. President to continue making such excellent and impactful appointments across key sectors of the economy. Nigeria’s progress depends greatly on placing capable, visionary, and result-oriented leaders in positions of responsibility,” AYAGL stated.
