Organisers of the forthcoming Daily Times Nigeria centenary celebration have unveiled Red Carpet Protocol as the official event coordination and management partner for the highly anticipated DTN@100 Times Heroes Awards slated for September 2026.
The appointment marks a major step in preparations for the celebration of 100 years of Daily Times Nigeria’s contributions to journalism, democratic development, and nation-building.
According to the organisers, Red Carpet Protocol was chosen for its extensive experience in event management, protocol services, hospitality coordination, VIP engagement, and delivery of premium national events.
Under the partnership, the firm will oversee key aspects of the centenary awards ceremony, including stakeholder relations, protocol coordination, hospitality arrangements, guest management, and the overall execution strategy for the event.
Speaking on the development, Mr. Beloved Olaniyi said the organisers are determined to stage a globally competitive event worthy of the Daily Times legacy.
He explained that the choice of Red Carpet Protocol was driven by the company’s track record in managing high-profile events and engaging strategic stakeholders effectively.
Olaniyi added that the DTN@100 celebration would not only commemorate the newspaper’s rich history but also honour outstanding individuals and organisations whose contributions have advanced Nigeria’s growth across various sectors.
The Times Heroes Awards is expected to draw an array of prominent personalities, including senior government officials, diplomats, business leaders, media executives, political figures, traditional rulers, and other distinguished Nigerians from within and outside the country.
