Egbabor Charges Couples To Be United In Love

Executive Chairman of Isoko North Local Government, Hon. Emmanuel Egbabor has charged couples to be united in love as they confront the challenges of marriage.

The Isoko North Council boss spoke on Saturday 8th August, 2015 at the Civic Centre Emevor as Chairman of the occasion at the wedding ceremony between Mr & Mrs Mike Mikoko Akpodhoma, the Press Secretary to the Minority Leader, House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Leo Okuweh Ogor.

According to the Chairman, when couples are united in love, no third party can come in between them to scatter their marriage.

“I speak to you all today as Chairman of the occasion, not because am the wisest or richest or oldest amongst all that are present here today.

“I have been chosen to be Chairman of the occasion not because am Chairman of the Local Government but because God has destined that I should be Chairman of the occasion to bring them a few words of advice.

“As a couple, my advice to them is that, they should love one another just as the bible prescribed. They must never allow third parties to come in between them. I advise the wife to be humble, loyal and submissive to the husband and she must endeavor to cook good meals for the husband at all times.

“As for the husband, my advice to him is that he should love his wife and ensure that he makes her his closest confidant.”

Speaking further, Hon. Egbabor said, the couple must ensure that when they have issues, they should endeavor to handle it and settle in the house without any third party hearing about it.

The church wedding and marriage reception which took place at the First Baptist Church, and Civic Centre, Emevor was well attended by dignitaries amongst whom were; member representing Ughelli South Constituency, Hon. Barrister Reuben Rume Izeze, former Delta State Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Barrister Edewor Omonemu, Executive Chairman, Isoko North
Local Government, Hon. Emmanuel Egbabor, Isoko South First Lady, Lady Peikumor Itiako Ikpokpo, and Vice Chairman, Hon. Anthony Odhe.

Others were former Vice Chairman of Isoko South Local Government Hon. Dickson Ebegbare, former Political Adviser, Delta South Mr Charles Mallam Obi, Secretary to the Local Government, Barrister Vote Umukoro, Secretary Isoko South Local Government, Mr Kola Obrogo, Special Assistant to Hon Leo Ogor, Hon. Joseph Otheremu, Mr Phillip Osima, Personal Assistant, Prince Godwin Ogorugba, Special Adviser to Isoko North Council boss, Mr John Ubueme, Deacon Abraham Ifode, Mr Victor Opute, and Hon. Evans Egbo.
