Mass Exodus Hits Lagos PDP, Chieftains Set To Join

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State is set lose key chieftain as plans have been concluded by some of them to join the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

This comes as a stalwart of the party, Chief Babatunde Olorogun-Etti on Sunday fixed Tuesday, August 11, 2015 for his defection ceremony.

Also, a former Local government assistant secretary, Mr. Sunday Ayinde along with Mr. Wale Ramous, Alhaji Kaburat Salami, Alhaji Yakubu, Alhaji Quadri, Alhaja Shadiat Odutayo, Hon Muiz Aregbe, Mrs. Jaji, Alhaji Rammond Afolabi, Mr. Abideen, Mr. Ahmad Sanni Woleola and other PDP leaders in Lagos Island have concluded plans to defect to the APC.

The concluded defection of Olorogun-Etti and others implies that PDP have lost notable politicians in the state.

TheStreetReporters.com was reliably informed That Olorogun-Etti broke up irreconcilably with the PDP last April.

“The patron, Eko United, Chief Babatunde
Olorogun-Etti and other prominent PDP leaders in Lagos State will publicly declare for the APC on Tuesday, August 11, 2015.

The time is 12noon while the venue is Molade Okoya Recreation Centre, Onikan” a statement by Mr. Sunday Ayinde said.

Olorogun-Etti said he doesn’t feel the PDP is
working for the development of the state.

“I think right now the PDP is gone in Lagos State,” he said.

“Hon Razaq Folorunso Balogun, Alhaji G. O. Sadiq, Alhaji Mufutau Kadiku, Barrister Hakeem Oladapo Giwa, Alhaji Aro-Lambo, Chief Owolabi Martins, Hon Kamal Bashua, Hon Lukumon Omotosho, Hon Ashekun Owoiya, Hon Shola Giwa, Hon Owolabi Monsuru, Hon Demola Seriki, Hon Tajudeen Olusi and Hon Adekunle Alli are among those expected to attend the event”, the statement added.
