Anti-Corruption: Jonathan Developed The Single Treasury Account (TSA), No Buhari, Ex-Ministers Reveal

Contrary to impression created in the media that The Single Treasury Account (TSA), was an initiative of the President Muhammadu Buhari, ministers who served under the last administration have revealed it was former President Jonathan’s brain child to curb corruption.

The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC)’s Vice President Yemi Osinbajo had recently ordered all ministries and departments of government to pay all government revenues into The Single Treasury Account (TSA).

The former ministers in a statement issued in Abuja, which was signed by former Minister for National Planning, Dr. Abubakar Suleiman, noted that “It was also the Jonathan administration that supported the
institutional development of strong systems and mechanisms to curb corruption in the public service and plug revenue leakages.
