The Chairman of the Isoko North Chapter of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP Hon. Daniel Tutumor has hailed the appointment of Hon. Chief Phillip Adheke as Special Assistant to the Hon. Speaker of the House of Representatives.
“Chief Adheke is one of the founding members of the PDP in Delta State. He has served the party in several capacities and am quite convinced that his appointment as Special Assistant is well deserved.
“He worked so hard for it and I thank God and our leader, Rt. Hon. Leo Ogor for making it possible for him to be appointed.”
Hon. Adheke, a strong grass root politician from Iyede in Isoko North LGA, was a two term Executive Chairman of Isoko North Local Government.
He is a foundation member of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP and the pioneer Deputy Chairman of the Delta State Chapter of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP. He also acted as State Chairman of the party.
During his tenure as Executive Chairman of Isoko North Local Government, he was reported to have transformed the Council Secretariat by building a new office complex for the Chairman and other principal officers of the council.
Because of his political dexterity and sagacity, he was appointed Director-General of Hon. Leo Ogor Campaign Organization, a position he served meritoriously and delivered his Principal and other PDP Candidates in the Federal Constituency seamlessly.
