Broadcast: No Plans for Buhari’s COVID19 Update Today – Spokesman

The presidency has refuted rumours making the rounds that President Muhammadu Buhari will be addressing Nigerians Monday night to review current COVID19 partial lockdown.

A presidential Spokesman, Femi Adesina, took to his Twitter handle to dispell the rumours as circulated on social media.

Adesina noted that the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 will continue its daily briefing, saying “No presidential broadcast on COVID-19 updates today.

“None was planned. Rather, the Presidential Task Force will during its usual media briefings bring the nation up to speed on the next steps”.
