Sir Ephraim Ejeh: Ekwunife, Secondus, Ugwuanyi, Obi Others Mourn

The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District and a frontline Governorship Aspirant for the 2021 Anambra Governorship election under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Uche Ekwunife on Friday joined the National Chairman of the PDP, Prince Uche Secondus, Governor of Enugu State, H. E. Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Former Governor of Anambra State, H. E. Mr Peter Obi and a host of other dignitaries at the burial of Sir Ephraim Ejeh.

Ekwunife, Secondus, Ugwuanyi, Obi Others Mourn Sir Ephraim EjehThe Senator attended the burial service of Sir Ephraim Ejeh held at St Thomas Anglican Church Amaeze Village, Oraukwu in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State to mourn the deceased who was a former Chief Federal Electoral Officer of the defunct Federal Electoral Commission (FEDECO) during the 2nd republic.

Speaking to news men after the Church service, Senator Ekwunife described the late Octogenarian as a man who deserves to be celebrated for his service to the nation as a Federal Electoral Officer.

She described death as an inevitable end for every mortal and an opportunity for those who are left to mourn the dead to reevaluate their relationship with God as well as their contributions to humanity.

Ekwunife noted that Sir Ejeh who was a revered Knight of the Anglican Church impacted on the lives of many who came across him during his life time. She prayed God to grant the deceased eternal rest and equally grant his family the fortitude to bear the loss.

Other notable personalities at the burial service include, the Former Minister of Aviation, Chief Osita Chidoka, the PDP Chairman Anambra State, Hon Ndubuisi Nwobu, Hon Chris Azubogu MHR, High Chief Obiora Okonkwo PhD, Mr Valentine Ozigbo, Amb Ike Oligbo, Dr Alex Obiogbolu amongst others.
