The proponents the emergence of a South East President of Nigeria in 2023 on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) have given insights into why the project cannot be defeated and how the group can deliver on its objective, saying with adequate funding from well-meaning Nigerians, South East APC Presidency Project 2023 is unbeatable.
National Coordinator of the South East APC Presidency Project 2023, Dr Chinedu Jideofo-Ogbuagu who gave the insights in a statement yesterday observed that since 1970, the push for emergence of President of Nigeria of South-East extraction, spearheaded by South East APC Presidency Project 2023, a project of South-East APC Integrity Group, is undoubtedly the biggest political development in Nigeria.
According to him, the achievement of the Project agenda “will effectively end the 1967 to 1970 Civil War, heal its festering wounds, reintegrate the nine states of defunct Eastern Nigeria, and usher in an explosion of development not possible in the terse and tense 1970-2023 Nigeria.
“To us in South-East APC Presidency Project 2023, we see our mission as that of divine liberation of not only the five states of the South-East and four of six South-South states, but also of all other states and geopolitical zones of Nigeria.
“Consider corruption, security and the economy, for example, liberation and freedom for all Nigerians will kill both corruption and insecurity. Possibilities for the Nigerian economy will be endless”, the group insisted.
Thanking Nigerians of across the states of the federation, the group added, “We thank Nigerians of all states of Nigeria – including media practitioners – who have remained faithfully and steadfastly with our noble Project since January 2020.
“And they have achieved in one year what deep-pocketed individuals could not achieve with their billions of naira in many years.
“Indeed, as the 2023 presidential race hots up, where they (spent) N500 billion and fail, we will succeed with N50 billion expended.
“Money is important to us too, but while people will go to them for money, they will come to us for the sense, vision and patriotism.
“And, for us, unprecedented numbers of Nigerians will register to vote, collect their Permanent Voter’s Card and vote for that presidential candidate of South-East extraction in 2023, hopefully on APC platform.
“That is how we will deliver over 50 million genuine votes to our chosen South-East presidential aspirant. That is how none of them can beat us”, the group stated.
