Lionel Messi’s World Cup dream has remained alive after Argentina beat the Netherlands in a dramatic World Cup classic on penalties.

Lionel Messi and Argentina on Friday eliminated the Netherlands to make it to Semi-finals.

At the end of 90 minutes, the match ended 2 – 2 but at the penalties, the quarter-finals match ended in Netherlands 2(3) and Argentina 2(4).

Argentina will be confronting Croatia in the Semi-finals.
