National Association Of Great Minds Endorses Tinubu

A frontline sociopolitical organisation, the National Association Of Great Minds has endorsed the candidacy of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate.

Speaking at a press conference in Abuja on Tuesday, the National Coordinator of the group, Chief John Francis Igwe, noted that the group will work to deliver the APC presidential flagbearer on Saturday.

He called on Nigerians to support Tinubu’s presidential bid as has displayed a high level of doggedness by defeating all the candidates he contested the APC presidential primary with, including the younger candidates.

The group called on all APC members across the political wards in the country to deliver the Tinubu mandate as the process that produce him as the standard bearer of the party was open to all, urging Nigerians to learn to exercise patience with their leaders.

He disclosed, “We have members in all the 8812 wards across the country. From our calculation, about 40 million registered voters will cast their votes in the presidential election”, insisting that with 200 members per polling unit, APC Candidate will win the presidential election.

While responding to questions from newsmen, the the National Coordinator said that the group will congratulate whoever emerges victorious in the Saturday, February 25 presidential polls, expressing optimism that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will be declared winner.

On insecurity, in the South East of Nigeria, Mr Igwe expressed confidence in the ability of security agencies to ensure peaceful election, saying that “when there was insecurity in the North East of Nigeria, elections still held in 2015.”
