Rights activist, Senator Shehu Sani has described as protesters against the report of the European Election Observation Mission (EU EOM) to Nigeria on the 2023 general elections as Abuja protest merchants.
The former Senator who represented the people of Kaduna Central at the Senate maintained that the EU report is a compass that should guide the country to perfect the electoral system.
In a tweet, Senator Sani wrote โThe protest in the front of the EU Embassy in Abuja over the election report is a hollow and futile noises of conscienceless Abuja protest merchants.
โThey are masquerades of the decadence in our country.
โThe EU report is a compass that should guide us to perfect our systemโ, he tweeted.
