Governor Oborevwori Salutes Brig. Gen. Ndubuisi at 70

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State has congratulated President-General, Ndokwa Neku Union (NNU), Brigadier-General Michael Ndubuisi (Rtd) on his 70th birth anniversary.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, in Asaba on Wednesday, the Governor described Gen. Ndubuisi as a distinguished military officer, elder stateman and administrator per excellence.

He said that Brig. Gen. Ndubuisi had an illustrious military career which saw him through strategic leadership positions in the intelligence corps before retiring in 2006 after 34 years of meritorious service to the nation.

Oborevwori rejoiced with family members, friends, the people of Ndokwa nation on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Brig. Gen. Mike Ndubuisi.

“Gen. Ndubuisi served the nation meritoriously with his wealth of knowledge, wisdom and experience and upon retirement, he heeded the call of his Ndokwa people to serve as President General of the Ndokwa Neku Union, NNU.

“As a Government, we will continue to appreciate his wise counsel at all times, especially as he chairs the board of the Delta State Special Economic Zones (Koko/Kwale Free Trade Zones).

“On behalf of my family, the Government and people of Delta State, I congratulate Brigadier-General Mike Ndubuisi (retd), on the joyous occasion of his 70th birth anniversary.

“I join your family and indeed, your associates and admirers in thanking Almighty God for granting you a life of great accomplishments and abiding fulfillment,” Oborevwori said.
