Awards: Zeru Gebrelibanos Arrives Nigeria, Meets Ethiopian Ambassador
Business mogul and founder and CEO of Zeru Business Group, Mr. Zeru Gebrelibanos has arrived Nigeria ahead of prestigious awards he is scheduled to be receive in the country on Wednesday, September 20.
On arrival, he visited H.E Awall Wagris Mohammed, the Ambassador of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in Nigeria.
Mr. Zeru Gebrelibanos and other youth team to his office were warmly welcomed by the Ethiopian Ambassador to Nigeria.
During a brief meeting at the Embassy, they discussed important topics, including the reconstruction of schools and healthcare centers in conflict-affected areas.
Amb. Awall Wagris Mohammed expressed immense joy upon learning about Mr. Zeru’s prestigious honorary doctorate causa award from Weldios University, a renowned institution in Africa.
This highly anticipated award ceremony, taking place on Wednesday, will recognize Mr. Zeru’s exceptional contributions nationally and continentally in the fields of education, healthcare, and philanthropy.
It is worth mentioning that another awardee, Mr. Alem Kahsay, will also be honored with the esteemed African Youth Leaders Award for his outstanding contributions to youth leadership.
The warm reception and productive dialogue between Mr. Zeru and Ambassador Awall Wagris Mohammed exemplify the strong bonds and shared commitment to making a positive impact in Africa.
Born in Adigrat, Northern Ethiopia in 1975 E.C; Mr. Zeru Gebrelibanos, who exhibited interest in commodities at an early age, began running small businesses around his village for profit.
At the age of twenty five, he left his home town with the income generated from his small business and travelled to Gonder which is a commercial hub in Ethiopia.
There, with his business intelligence acumen acquired over the years and strong work ethics, Mr Zeru was able to beat all odds in the large commercial city of Gonder to emerge as one of the leading business icons in Africa.
