In what may pave way for the commencement of impeachment processes against Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State, the Rivers State House of Assembly has removed the House Leader, Hon. Edison Ehie.
The removal of the Leader of the House took place on Monday morning after explosion had rocked the Assembly complex on Sunday night.
The Street Reporters Newspaper gathered that 24 members of the Assembly signed for the removal of Ehie.
Recall that there was a fire incident at the Rivers State House of Assembly on Sunday night (yesterday night) which greatly affected the chamber.
The recent incidents may be connected to the alleged plot to impeach Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
