GOBO: Kogi State Governor Backs Initiative Empowering Small-Scale Entrepreneurs

Kogi State Governor Alh Ahmed Usman Ododo has endorsed the Governor Ododo Business Outreach (GOBO) initiative, aimed at uplifting marginalized groups and providing economic opportunities at the community level.

Launched on October 31, 2024, GOBO has already shown positive impact among petty traders and small businesses.

During a meeting with the Kogi State Forum of Senior Special Assistants, Governor Ododo expressed support for GOBO, aligning with his vision of inclusive governance.

The initiative provides sustainable business avenues for those previously lacking access to financial resources and market opportunities.

The Chairman of the Forum, Hon. Yahaya Shehu Ahmed, thanked the Governor for his encouragement, while Governor Ododo commended the forum’s dedication to GOBO and its commitment to improving citizens’ quality of life.

This development underscores the importance of government support for entrepreneurship development in Kogi State, recognizing the significant contribution of small and medium-scale enterprises to the state’s economic growth.
