In his Eid-el-Kabir message, Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Ajia, President/CEO of Funab Group of Companies Limited and respected political figure, extended warm greetings to the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Council of Traditional Rulers in Kwara State, His Royal Highness Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, as well as to all Nigerians and Muslims worldwide.
Ajia, in a statement signed by his Director of Communications, Malam Abdulrahman Aliagan, echoed the spiritual themes of the season, describing Eid-el-Kabir as “a time of spiritual reflection, sacrifice, and deep devotion.”
He called on political leaders to take urgent, people-focused action amid Nigeria’s harsh economic climate. “At a time when our nation faces multifaceted socioeconomic challenges—from rising cost of living, inflation, and unemployment to insecurity—there is an urgent need for political leaders at all levels to take affirmative, people-centered actions to ease the burden on ordinary citizens.”
Ajia also addressed the nation’s youth, encouraging them to remain united, innovative, and committed to national development. “Our country needs you now more than ever,” he said, emphasizing their role in building a stable and prosperous Nigeria.
He concluded with a prayer for peace, unity, and spiritual renewal across the country: “I wish all Muslims a joyous, peaceful, and spiritually fulfilling Eid-el-Kabir. Eid Mubarak!”
