The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) has commenced the Orientation and Revalidation Exercise for beneficiaries of the RHEI 3 Programme in all the three Senatorial District’s of Oyo State.
Speaking at the event, the NDE Director General, H. E Silas Ali Agara., who was represented by the Oyo State Coordinator, Mr. Oke Paul Adegboye., explained that the exercise, was part of efforts to ensure effective implementation of the programme, as well as providing beneficiaries with relevant information about the programme, its objectives, expectations, and the opportunities available to them.
During the orientation, beneficiaries were sensitised on the importance of active participation, discipline, commitment, and compliance with the guidelines of the programme. The revalidation exercise also provides an opportunity to verify beneficiaries’ details and ensure that only eligible beneficiaries participate in the programme.
Officials of the NDE from the four core programme departments encouraged the beneficiaries to take full advantage of the training and other support provided under the RHEI 3 Programme, noting that the initiative was designed to equip participants with relevant skills and improve their opportunities for sustainable livelihoods and employment.
The exercise brought together beneficiaries, programme department officials from Small Scale Development, SSD, Vocational Skills Development, VSD, Rural Employment Promotion, REP, Special Public Works, SPW, trainers, and other relevant stakeholders in Oyo State.
The NDE reaffirmed its commitment to the successful implementation of the RHEI 3 Programme and ensuring that beneficiaries derive maximum benefit from the intervention and charged them to be good ambassadors.
