Buhari Escapes Disqualification, Eligibility Suits Adjoined Till April 22
Suits seeking the disqualification of presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, suffered setback as the court adjourns the cases till April 22 and 23, 2015, almost a month after Nigeria’s presidential election.
By the adjournment by a Federal High Court in Abuja, Buhari will contest the March 28 presidential election.
The presiding Judge, Justice Adeniyi Ademola, fixed the date after he dismissed applications by two intended parties to join the suit as defendants.
‎
According to justice Ademola, the adjournment would affect all the pending suits against Buhari in his court.
Tension had mounted over possible disqualification of Buhari, even as the APC candidate, a former military dictator who outlawed the power of the courts as a military ruler, had failed to publicly show his academic qualification, even after being accused of not having the minimum qualification to contest the election.
The APC had warned against any orchestrated, last-minute disqualification of its presidential candidate in order to pave the way for an easy victory for President Goodluck Jonathan or even another postponement of the elections.

I have always known that know judge or justice will give such unwarranted judgement. Abinitio,it was a shadow chasing and most unfortunate. Buhari is a rare gem that will be celebrated for lifetimes in another clime. He is a national pride to all Nigerian. Even right now as we speak He is being adored and celebrated across Africa and around the World. He deserve to win the coming elections, the signs are ominous as all obstacles are crumbling before him.He is certainly the next President.
