The Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu’s statement that Igbos resident in Lagos  State must vote for the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Akinwumi Ambode, or they will die in the lagoon within seven days has been confirmed via a circulating video.

The monarch on Sunday said he was not ready to beg the Igbos and warned them not to repeat their support for presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), President Goodluck Jonathan on March 28.

Following the criticism that greeted the outburst, the Oba’s palace issued a statement denying the comments attributed to the paramount ruler in the state.

However, video evidence proves the traditional ruler robbed his throne on the mod by delving into politics.
