The Street Reporters Newspaper has obtained images of the state of work at the ongoing completion of the 10.5- kilometre Nike Lake Junction-Harmony Estate-Amorji Nike-Adoration Pilgrimage Centre Link Road.
The road, according to government sources, “presents an amazing experience of the imprint of Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi’s urban and rural development agenda in Enugu State.
“The all-important bypass with lined drains and five river crossings including culverts and bridges, already constructed in the first phase, across the thick forest of Umuchigbo community in Enugu East Local Government Area, will not only link Abakpa Nike and Emene, it will also bring rapid development to the area and ease flow of traffic at the popular Nike Lake Resort/Nike Road T-junction, which has been proposed for the first Enugu Underpass/Flyover by Gov. Ugwuanyi’s administration”.
