5th Anniversary: Why Okowa Administration Deserve More Support – Hon. Ighrakpata

The Deputy Chief Whip and member representing Uvwie Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon Solomon Ighrakpata has called for more support for Governor Ifeanyi Okowa in his quest to build a stronger Delta.

In a statement at Asaba, Hon Ighrakpata, said the five years of the Okowa’s led administration have recorded lots of tremendous progress in Delta State.

The lawmaker noted that the standard of lives have been raised through the several women and youth empowerment and wealth creation programmes of his administration.

He said, the Kwale, Ogwashi Uku industrial park projects are geared towards the industrialization of the state and expressed optimism of their early completion.

Hon Ighrakpata also noted with satisfaction, the creation of the Warri/Uvwie and Environs Development Authority, noting that the agency was established to drive greater growth of infrastructure and sustainable progress in the localities.

The Uvwie lawmaker who also commended the network of roads by the administration in the state, on behalf of his constituents congratulated the Governor Okowa on the anniversary and pledged the people’s continued support.

Hon Ighrakpata expressed optimism that the remaining part of the Okowa administration will witness more positive changes in the state.
