The Manager of Doa Gas Plant, Mr Achile James Achimugu has assured the people of Kogi State of a steady and accurate supply of cooking gas for domestic use.

Mr Achimugu who gave the assurance in Lokoja, the state capital, shortly before the commissioning of the Gas Plant which is located directly at Phase Two Housing Units along Barrack Road said the twenty five metric tonn capacity gas plant is equiped with modern facilities to ensure customers satisfaction.

According to him, the Doa Gas Plant has measured up to the standard expected by the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) emphasising that safety and environmental certificate had been issued to the organization.

He assured of accurate dispension of the product adding that digital metering scales would be used to ensure accuracy.

Mr Achimugu called for patronage from the people of the state.

According to him, the Federal Government has declared 2021 as the year of gas due to its safety, environmental sustainability and accessibility hence the need to jettison the era of using fire wood, saw dust and other unhealthy materials for cooking.
