Dr. Hamza Al-Mustapha, former chief Security officer to late Head of State, Sani Abacha, has reacted to the death of former Head of Interim National Government of Nigeria, Chief Ernest Shonekan, describing the news as “a rude shock”.
In his reaction, Al-Mustapha wrote “Learning about the demise of great Pan-Africanist H.E Chief Ernest Shonekan came with a rude shock early this morning.
“H.E Chief Ernest Shonekan was an elder statesman whose hunger for a #BetterNigeria cannot be questioned or overemphasized. He lived a modest life with exquisite traits and extraordinary characters worthy of emulation.
“I on behalf of my immediate family and associates worldwide do hereby convey my condolences to the immediate family of H.E Chief Ernest Shonekan, the government and good people of Ogun state.
“May Allah SWT give us the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss. Ameen”, Al-Mustapha prayed.
