SDP Leading Female Presidential Aspirant Steps Down For Prince Adewole Adebayo

One of the leading Presidential aspirants,
Cesnabmihilo Dorathy Nuhu-Aken’Ovia, has stepped down her aspiration for Prince Adewole Adebayo.
This, according to her was based on the party’s decision to zone the presidential ticket to the south west part of the country.
Dorathy Nuhu made this disclosure at a world press conference on Tuesday in Abuja to announce her withdrawer from the presidential race under the social Democratic Party(SDP)and declare her support for Prince Adewole Adebayo.
According to her: “Today, we are here because I want to affirm a number of things i am passionate about concerning our country, Nigeria.
“As you all know, before today, i was in the race for the Presidential ticket which has however been zoned to the South West. This has automatically ruled me out of the race.
“As an obedient and loyal member of the Party, i have stepped down my aspiration.
“I must point out at this point that my abiding reason for seeking the highest of the land was never about me, but to propagate real change in Nigeria that will cause a turn around for Nigeria and her citizens.
“I am please to inform you therefore, having been made ineligible to contest for the Presidency by the zoning, i have identified a formidable candidate who is still eligible to contest and who also shares the same passions, ideals and aspirations for socioeconomic development of Nigeria and her citizens as i do. I have decided to throw my weight behind that credible candidate. He is our amiable and highly esteemed colleague, Prince Adewole Adebayo”.
She called on Nigerians to rally around the party as they coast to victory comes 2023 general elections.
She continued: “Let me also assure you that this decision was taken in full consultation with my supporters and constituents . I hereby thank the Cesnabmihilo 2023 campaign team for all the support they have given m on this journey. I also solicit for your continued support as we we gallop together to 2023 general elections.
“Let us work even harder with our new formidable team and the Social Democratic Party until we reclaim the Presidency under the leadership of Prince Adewole Adebayo”, she said.
Responding, the Presidential aspirant of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Prince Adewole Adebayo thanked her for resolving what president Muhammadu Buhari cannot resolved in the All Progressive Party (APC).
He also thanked her for laying a solid bricks towards building a government that works for the people.
Saying, ” A government where people will not be gunned down in their places of worship, a place where you can work around the country and feel safe, where food is not a luxury, where ethnicity, religion, gender and all other discriminating practices would not be the center point of our politics, where your bank account will not be the mileage of our politics that is what she is making possible today and the action she has taken in the public”.
He noted that Dorathy Nuhu-Aken’Ovia campaign will be the center stage of his administration when elected.
“Today, she is helping us with our campaign, she is now the Director of Mass Mobilization and Civic Engagement.”
