JUST IN: SDP Presidential Candidate Adebayo To Meet CAN President Today
The presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Prince Adewole Adebayo is scheduled to meets with the President of Chrstian Association of Nigeria (CAN) today.
The Street Reporters Newspaper gathered that the meeting is to hold by 4pm in Abuja.
But, at the time of this report, the purpose of the meeting with CAN President was not disclosed but it may not be unconnected with his presidential ambition.
On the aftermath of the fielding of a Muslim presidential candidate and a Muslim vice presidential candidate by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has been generating controversy in country.
Consequently, CAN, the umbrella body of Christians in Nigeria, has been vehemently opposed to a single faith Federal Executive in 2023.
However, the SDP presented a Christian-Muslim candidate and running mate.
Prince Adebayo is the founder of the KAFTAN TV and an international lawyer.
