The Social Democratic party presidential candidate and presidential hopeful, Chief Adewole Adebayo has called on Nigerians to allow him to be their president come 2023 to tackle the menaceof insecurity hitting the country.

Prince Adewole made this known in a 60minute interview session with Nigeria journalist Angela Ajetunmobi. He applauds the military saying that the Nigerian military isn’t weak, they only act under instruction being given to them.

He said ‘ unlike the Nigeria police where if you commit a crime probably on the road, a police officer doesn’t need to talk to the inspector general of the police before arresting you, but in the armed force, you’ll have to wait for orders and directives on what to do by their superior.

The Ondo-born prince who express confidence in the Nigerian army said all the insecurity in the country if we put all the bad eggs together, banditry, kidnapping, terrorist, agitators, and all their sisters together they do not possess 5% power of the Nigerian army.

He further pleaded with Nigerians to make him their president because ‘ we will be using Bokoharam as history textbook’ because he does not have any worries about the armed forces.

Nigeria’s army is ashamed of the happenings around in the country, because they’re one of the highly trained, most educated, and respected in the world, he concluded.

On the chances of the SDP ahead of the 2023 general elections in view of the fact that the party has no elected Governor or National Assembly members considered as the party structure, the SDP candidate said “let me put it this way, those people are not the structure. They are the product of the structure.

“What I mean by structure is the ordinary people, for no gain, believe in the party.

“You know many politicians go out of their way to higher mercenaries to work for them. They have to go out of their way to higher consultants and it becomes very expensive to run; they have to pay delegates to show up. But that’s not the case of the SDP. It is a party that has depth and has commitment.

“I am the presidential candidate of the party now and I am extremely happy. There are people in our party who have been there for 30 years. Even in the year of proscription, they remained there.

He noted that there are people whose parents have been in the SDP over the years.
