Prince Akpo Abugo, Executive Assistant On Social Advocacy to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State and Vice Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has made a clarion call to the people of Isoko North and South
in particular and Deltans in general to disregard what he described as the rantings of those who reportedly decamped to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and join hands with Bashorun Askia Ogieh, the MD/CEO of DESOPADEC, to vote enmass for the PDP to register another landslide Victory in the 2023 general elections.

Prince Akpo Abugo, who a Chieftain of the Party from lsoko nation, pointed out in a statement that: “Anything good is to be envied with jealousy, and most times, because these characters don’t want others to succeed they unknowingly destroy themselves, Jesus Christ was envied by his own people for his good deeds, Prophet Mohammed (peace of Allah be upon him) was attacked by his people of Saudi Arabia, Buddha and other important figures throughout the centuries; they were victims of their brothers, sisters and relatives who envied them.”

The Governor’s aide noted that we should know that”our enemies at times may not be those who criticize us or oppose our ways but those who drink with us either as brothers, sisters, relatives or friends.

Abugo observed that Odio Bashorun Askia Ogieh, like all great men and leaders throughout the centuries, had been vilified by close relatives who have done this through envy to pull him down because he had done well in the past, and still doing very well, saying that he cannot be distracted.

Prince Akpo Abugo explained with emphasis that Bashorun Askia Ogieh has done well for Uzere kingdom, Isoko nation and beyond as MD/CEO DESOPADEC but his accomplishments rather than attract commendations have raised envy from unexpected quarters, noting that only the rational who has lived above pettiness and jealous greed can see the impact of his uncommon developmental strides in his public service.

In addition he insisted that the accomplishments of Askia have raised envy from some greedy, implacable, envious relatives and friends just as was the case of Julius Ceaser who was betrayed by close relatives, adding that in all honesty, there is no where Askia Ogieh footprints had not tourched in Isoko nation and beyond.

According to Prince Abugo, the conspiracy is about relatives who feels rather than use government position to uplift the larger society it should be used to sustain narrow family, clannish interest and this is where the moles, the jealous irredentist chameleonic characters got it all wrong, and they have failed.

Speaking further, he assertively painted a scenario saying: “The traitors who joined some rodents outside to try to stop Askia’s dream of representing Isoko Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, are the creatures trying to throw up their antics”.

Abugo maintained that Politics of bitterness and envy is what some band of Political bats sold to get attention and in doing so buried their own projection.

He observed that the question is, why should they drag Askia Ogieh’s name into the gray as his relatives as a decoy to buy importance if Bashorun Askia is not a good leader in Isoko and the state?

Again he asked rhetorically: “For those Who purportedly cross carpet, Why did not they just decamp without dragging him in as a relative? Do those who decamped to APC bear the same surname with the revered Askia Ogieh? Why drag his name into this if he is not a respectable performer as his Political traducers want the public to believe.?”

Continuing, he added: “The fact remains that their attachment to Odio Askia Ogieh in their traitor deal is seeking attention to promote a relevance they themselves never had in borrowed robes, hence We must stand for good governance, and good society,
which is the fundamentals of what Askia represents.”

He further said: “We must degrade these moles, chameleonic characters, pull him down irredentist and blackmailers to the gabage Which they rightly belong, as the conspirators thought they will deem the fame of Julius Ceaser but failed so do the conspirators who goes with the epithet”relatives” failed by trying to think by dragging Askia Ogieh’s name into their nefarious Politics of stomach and greed.”

Abugo reaffirmed that the mischief workers imagined that they have sustained their evil deeds, but thank God for the multitude of people whom Odio Askia Ogieh had uplifted who must now speak out to shame these enemies of success,
adding that any “relative” who decamped to APC is not a brother, sister or relative of our leader Bashorun Askia Ogieh but a mole, self seeking biggot sent by agents of darkness to pull him down but like a pack of card they have crumbled and failed.

In his summation, Abugo expressed optimism saying: “We should not be destracted by these agents of darkness, we should hold the light Askia Ogieh had been holding to find the path for all who seek light and truth, darkness shall never prevail over light, let’s stand with Bashorun Askia Ogieh and support PDP to coast to victory in this 2023 general elections to rescue Nigeria with the duo of Atiku /Okowa while in Delta State the Governor in waiting by the grace of God RT Hon Sheriff Francis Orohwedor Oborevwori will unfold the MORE Agenda to consolidate on the laudable legacies of Governor Okowa, the Road Master and Ekueme of the Universe”.
