National Coordinator, Coalition for A Better Nigeria, Comrade Awa Bamiji, has reiterated the commitment of global community of civil societies to show their undying love for the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Valentines Day as the politician bags Grand Commander of African Politics.

The presentation of the award, scheduled to hold during the 30th Anniversary of June 12 Election Annulment, the annualled June 12, 1993 presidential election won by business mogul Chief MKO Abiola, is being organised by the coalition.

Comrade Bamiji, who is also the Executive President of the Bola Ige Centre for Justice; Secretary, Beko Ransome – Kuti Memorial Committee; President – General, Grand Council of Yoruba Youths and Member, Civil Society Directorate of Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, in a statement on Monday noted that the Central Coordination of all activities leading to the event globally, which is being handled by the coalition’s Secretariat in Ilupeju Industrial Estate, Lagos State, has shifted to the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja ahead of the 30th Anniversary of June 12 Election Annulment.

He noted that the event will holds in the next three weeks inside APC Presidential Campaign Council Headquarters, Abuja, on Tuesday, 14th February, 2023, under the Chairmanship of Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, Executive Governor of Kaduna State.

The event, which is billed to be viewed live on TVC, has the Executive Governor of Kano State (North), Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje, and his Lagos State counterpart (South), Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, as Guest Speakers.

Topic of discussion, according to the organisers, is “Remembering Lagos Security, Economy, And Human And Physical Capacity Developments: Vote Tinubu Secure Future, Do Otherwise Embrace Failure”.

The event has President Muhammadu Buhari as Chief Host while National Chairman, All Progressives’ Congress (APC), Alhaji Abdullahi Adamu and the Executive Governor of Plateau State who doubles as Director – General, Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, Mr Simon Lalong, are the Hosts.

The APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will be the Special Guest of Honour while All Members of the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) and All APC Presidential Aspirants are Guests of Honour.

“The following former Governors and close Associates of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, Mr Raji Fashola, SAN, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode and Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola are Fathers of the day while Mothers of the day are the present and the incoming, by God’s grace, first and second Ladies in Nigeria, Dr (Mrs) Aisha Buhari, Mrs Dolapo Osinbajo, Senator Remi Tinubu and Hajia Nana Shettima”, Comrade Bamiji said, assuring of maximum security throughout the three-day event.
