Talented Nigerian Artiste MohBad Dies At 27 As Olamide, Others Mourn

Nigerian Artiste and Afrobeat singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Alabama, a.k.a. MohBad, has passed away at the age of 27.

The former Marlian Record signee’s demise has left fans and the music community in mourning.

The announcement was made public by music executive Ovie, who shared the devastating news on his social media platform on Tuesday.

Also confirming his death, Nigerian rapper, Olamide Adedeji, popularly known as Olamide shared a cryptic message on his X handle.

“Damn! Mohbad” and in another tweet, Olamide posted, “This life (sic)”

An old video of Bella Shmurda saying he was battling mental health issues recently resurfaced online minutes after the reported death of the singer.

Some of the popular songs of the singer include KPK, Peace, Komajesun, Pariwo, and many more.

Information on the cause of his death and where he died as of the time of filling this report was sketchy.

Mohbad was born on June 6, 1998, and had in the past reportedly wanted to commit suicide, according to his colleague Akinbiyi Abiola better known as Bella Shmurda.
