It takes a leader who listens to his people, values his grassroots, and understands the importance of community to step down, identify with the mothers, and share in their joy. That is exactly what Chima Anyaso demonstrated by identifying with Ndị Iyom Ebiri Okomoko, the mothers of Igbere and Bende at large.
The atmosphere was filled with excitement and motherly affection as our mothers welcomed Ofuji into their midst. Their joy was evident, their smiles were heartwarming, and their prayers were sincere. They showered him with blessings, words of encouragement, and assurances of their support as he continues his journey towards 2027.
Our mothers are extraordinary women. Their sacrifices, wisdom, prayers, love, and unwavering support have contributed immensely to the growth and success of our families and communities. They are the pillars of our homes and a vital part of the Igbere community.
For Chima Anyaso to make time to identify with these remarkable women speaks to the importance of listening to the grassroots and maintaining a connection with the people. Leadership is not only about occupying a position; it is also about showing up, listening, appreciating people, and making them feel valued.
The mothers, in their happiness and solidarity, expressed their readiness to stand by Ofuji and support him throughout the journey ahead. Their prayers and show of love were a beautiful reminder that genuine relationships are built through mutual respect, appreciation, and consistent engagement.
Igbere is home, and the love of our people is priceless!
May God continue to bless Ndị Iyom Ebiri Okomoko, strengthen our mothers, preserve the unity of our people, and sustain the peace and love that bind Igbere and Bende together.
God bless our mothers.
God bless Igbere.
God bless Bende.
OGA DỊ KA OLUEBUBE!
OFUJI 2027!
