OBANIKORO1-300x249 Obanikoro Named Minister of State 2 as New Ministers Get PortfolioSenator Musiliu Obanikoro has emerged as the Minister of State 2 for Foreign Affairs.
This followed the inauguration of new ministers by President Goodluck Jonathan shortly before the commencement of the weekly Federal Executive Council meeting on Wednesday.

The new ministers and their portfolios are: Senator Patricia Akwashiki (Information); Prof. Nicholas Ada (State, Foreign Affairs I); Senator Musiliu Obanikoro (State, Foreign Affairs II); retired Colonel Augustine Akobundu (State, Defence); Fidelis Nwankwo (State, Health); Hauwa Bappa (State, Niger Delta Affairs); Kenneth Kobani (State, Industry, Trade and Investment); and Senator Joel Ikeya (Labour and Productivity).

Jonathan also named the Minister of State for Health, Khaliru Alhassan, as the Minister of Health.

Alhassan has been acting as Supervising Minister of Health since Prof. Onyebuchi Ckukwu resigned in 2014 to seek the governorship seat in Ebonyi State.
