The contributions of the Chairman of Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF), Dr. Ngozi Olejeme to national development have caught the eyes of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ).

In a letter signed by Deji Gbolahon Elumoye and Abimbola Oyetunde, Chairman and Secretary respectively, the Lagos State Council of the NUJ reeled out the achievements of the brilliant and charismatic NSITF boss, pointing to the Employees’ Compensation Act (ECA) and her transformation of the moribund agency.   

The 2015 NUJ awards will be presented on Friday, September 25 in Lagos

The letter reads ‘The Lagos Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) is to mark its 2015 Press Week.

As part of the events, an Award Night which will be the grand finale of the Press Week activities is scheduled for Friday, September 25 at the Lagos Sheraton Hotels and Towers, Bank Anthony Way, Ikeja by 6; 00pm.

“We are pleased to inform you of your nomination for the 2015 NUJ Recognition Award.

“Your recognition for the award to be bestowed on you stems out of a careful study of your administrative excellence in handling the affairs of the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF).

“Your immense contributions are well noted and Nigerians appreciate”, the letter read.
