Yahaya Bello Finally Sworn In as Fourth Executive Governor Of Kogi State.
Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello has been officially sworn-in as the 4th Executive Governor of Kogi State.He was sworn-in precisely 12:02pm at the Confluence stadium, Lokoja by theChief Judge of Kogi State, Justice Nasir Ajanah with the administration of oath.
Bello’s deputy however was not named. It has been a contentious issues since the death of the original torch bearer of the All Progressives Congress in the gubernatorial election in Kogi State, in whose stead Bello stands.
Audu’s running mate, James Faleke declined to be Bello’s deputy, laying claims to the seat as the authentic owner of the Audu-Faleke mandate.
Alhaji Yahaya Bello makes history not just as the youngest, but as the first governor of Kogi State to have come from the minority tribes since the creation of the state in 1991.He is of Ebira extraction and hails from Agassa, Okene Local Government Area of Kogi State.
