BREAKING: Education Minister Debunks His Rumoured Appointment As Replacement for Abba Kyari
…’Minister Not Desperate for Appointment’
The Honourable Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu has laughed off speculatations and insinuating reports of his appointment as replacement for late Mallam Abba Kyari, the former Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, describing the trending report on social media as mere imagination of idle minds.
His longstanding confidant from Bauchi State, who did not want to be named, spoke while responding to enquiries by newsmen on the matter.
The source, who has been in close contact with the Minister in the last few weeks, stated categorically that he (Adamu Adamu) was not desperate for any appointment as he is currently preoccupied with his efforts to reform the education sector in the country.
“Unknown to many, education is very dear to the heart of Mr. President and the Honourable Minister of Education is aware of that and has been fully preoccupied with the task of restoring the lost glory of the sector.
“So, the story making the rounds, insinuating that the Honourable Minister has been appointed as the new Chief of Staff to the President, is obviously the handiwork of mischief makers and idle minds who seem to have nothing serious they are doing”, he said.
The source added that power comes from God and He alone decides the fate of every of His creation.
“Therefore, as someone very close to the Honourable Minister, I know that the Minister is not desperate for any position.
“For now, God has placed Mallam Adamu Adamu in a position to execute the lofty vision of Mr. President in the education sector.
“He is supervising, on behalf of Mr. President, an all-important ministry in terms of human capital development and has not shown any desperation for any other office”, the Minister’s ally disclosed.
