Governor Hope Uzodimma’s Special Adviser on Diaspora, Chief Cllr. Celia Osakwe-Hibbert, as inspired leaders and members of her party.
She was captured in a video talking about strategies for All Progressives Congress (APC) membership drive at a stakeholders meeting in Isu Local Government Area of Imo State.
Chief Osakwe-Hibbert, a serving Councillor in United Kingdom, strongly made a case for robust “inclusion and diversity” drawing inspiration from “best practices” obtainable in developed Diaspora nations.
Drawing on her experience in UK politics where she defeated her rival with a number of votes in 20s, she harped on the need for mobilisation of women to join the APC in the local government, especially with a woman representing the constituency in the state legislature.
