Ekwunife Visits Radopin Supermarket, Calls For Private-Sector Driven Economy
The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Uche Ekwunife, PhD, has advocated for a private-sector driven economy, assuring that she will continue to support policies that will spur entrepreneurship and economic growth in the country.
The Senator noted that private sector participation would flatten the curve of unemployment amongst the youths.
Ekwunife, who spoke on Friday, December, 17, 2021, at the new branch of Radopin Supermarket located at Kwata-junction, Awka, urged government at all levels to create an enabling environment for businesses to thrive.
The federal lawmaker said that the private sector as a key stakeholder in economic prosperity can provide circa 90% of employment in Nigeria.
The Chairman Senate, Committee on Science, Technology and Innovation while commending the management of Radopin Supermarket for the new outlet, advised Ndi Anambra and more private individuals to invest in the state, describing the light of the Nation as an ideal investment destination.
“I am delighted with the top-notch customer service of this one-stop mall and I encourage Ndi Anambra to emulate the management by investing in the state which will create jobs for our teeming youths”, Ekwunife noted.
