Igbo Association Endorses Gov. Zulum, Tinibu/Kashim Ticket

The Igbo Welfare Association has endorsed Governor Babagana Zulum for Governor of Borno State and the presidential and vice-presidential candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kashim Shettima ticket as well as all APC candidates in Borno State.

The endorsement took place during the usual visit of Hon. El-Lawan Mustapha to interact with various leaders in Maiduguri.

The meeting which took place at the Igbo Hall Wulari, Maiduguri, has in attendance various leaders of Igbo groups and communities residing in Borno State.

The leaders on behalf of their members and communities appreciated the effort of Gov. Babgana Umara Zulum towards the development and transformation of Borno State, and promised to rally behind him and all APC.

They also thank the him for the construction of road and drainage in the Bank of the North area (where the majority business owners are Igbos).

Speaking during the meeting, Hon. El-Lawan urged them and their members to go and collect their PVC cards at various collection centres as the collection date has been extended.

He also advices them to be more careful and think twice during the forth coming General election come February 2023.
