The Governor of Enugu State, Rt. Hon. Dr. Lawrence Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, CON, has received a vote of confidence from Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) members in Umulolo ward, Ovoko in Igbo Eze South Local Government Area of Enugu State, for the excellent manner in which he has been running his administration in the last eight years.
Barr. Ugo Ukwueze, Special Adviser to the Governor, who conveyed the gratitude of the leadership of Umulolo Ward to the Governor during their emergency Ward meeting, described the Governor Ugwuanyi as an elephant carrying its young ones at the back, one that has brought to them Peter Ndubuisi Mbah and Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai.
He urged the members that while they say their prayer, they should use those names to thank God for His faithfulness.
Barr. Ukwueze also urged the members to continue to ask God to give them the wisdom and guidance in their efforts to better the lot of the people of Enugu State.
Ugo Ukwueze further noted that it was interesting that the transition is from PDP to PDP, adding that “the future we are talking is here according to Peter Mbah who said, ‘Tomorrow is here’, and it is going to be better than yesterday.”
He, therefore, commended them for their hard work, noting that it was through their collective efforts that brought them thus far, urging them to ensure that they attend meetings regularly.
