Kwara Government Commends Sweepers On Sustained Clean Environment

The Kwara State Government has commended the sustained efforts of staff of the Ministry of Environment and Ilorin metropolis sweepers, at maintaining a clean environment in Ilorin metropolis, to ensure healthy living of the people.
According to a signed by the Assistant Press Secretary at the Ministry, Abolarinwa Folusho, the State Commissioner for Environment, Mallam Shehu Ndanusa Usman disclosed this during an interface with officers of the Ministry and the engaged Sweepers in Ilorin township, held today at the Ministry headquarters. 
Stressing further, the Commissioner said, “Let me use this medium to commend you for your dedication and commitment to sustaining a clean and healthy environment despite, the harsh weather condition, occasioned by the scorching sun, while you are still engage in your religious obligation of fasting.
“We appreciate your contributions at making Kwara Clean, the significance of your contribution can not be over emphasized.” He added.
Ndanusa thereafter implored them to continue to put in their bests, so as to sustain clean and hygienic environment in the state. 
In the same vein, the Permanent Secretary, Alhaji Abubakar Ayinla also commended the Sweepers for the job well done, in their respective duty posts and charged them to ensure compliance with precautionary measures, to avoid eventualities.
The representative of the sweepers, Hajia Memunat Aliu expressed gratitude to the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, for providing an enabling environment for us to perform our civic responsibilities, supporting us to discharge our duties, to ensure Kwara has a clean and habitable environment, in line with government policy thrust.
