The Save Enugu Group (SEG), a leading socio-political pressure group, has given a thumbs-up to Governor Peter Mbah’s infrastructure development strides in Enugu State. The group praised the governor’s commitment to spreading massive infrastructure projects across the state on the heels of the successful Flag-off of the Penoks-Abakpa-Ugwogo-Opi-Nsukka Road dualization project on Monday.

“We are vindicated for endorsing Governor Mbah, whose performance has been nothing short of impressive,” said Hon. Pascal Okolo, JP, Publicity Secretary of SEG.

The SEG noted that “Despite his human shortcomings, his pursuit of good governance and delivery of democracy dividends to all parts of the state remains evident, and the people are feeling the impact.”

Governor Mbah’s transformation agenda yielded another significant results, including the successful flag-off of the 43.7km Penoks-Abakpa-Ugwogo-Opi-Nsukka Road dualization project. “This project will reduce travel time, improve road safety, and boost economic growth in the region,” SEG noted.

Hon Okolo emphasized that Governor Mbah’s commitment to good governance and infrastructure development is unwavering. “We urge Governor Mbah to ignore detractors and remain focused on his ongoing transformation programme. The governor’s vision for Enugu State is a beacon of hope for the people.”

“The people of Enugu State are feeling the impact of Governor Mbah’s policies, and we are confident that his administration will continue to deliver democracy dividends to all parts of the state,” the SEG added.

The Save Enugu Group then called on stakeholders, including community leaders, politicians, and citizens, to support Governor Mbah’s efforts to develop Enugu State. “Let us work together to create a better future for our people,” Hon. Okolo urged.

The group recalled that as Vice President Kashim Shettima once noted, “Governor Peter Mbah means well for the people of Enugu State and he is humble… He is doing excellently well and he is worthy to be emulated by other governors across the length and breadth of this nation.”

With the Save Enugu Group’s endorsement, Governor Mbah’s transformation agenda is poised to continue making a positive impact on the lives of Enugu State citizens.
