BREAKING: Hon. Stephen Abraham Ajiya Writes PDP National Chairman, Formally Declares Intent to Contest for National Vice Chairman, North Central Zone
In a formal letter addressed to the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Stephen Abraham Ajiya has formally announced his intention to contest for the position of the National Vice Chairman of the PDP for the North Central Zone.
This declaration marks a significant step in his political career and underscores his commitment towards making contributions to the party’s growth and success at the national level.
Hon. Ajiya, a dedicated member of the PDP from the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), in the letter received by the office of the national vice chairman, North Central at the national headquarters of the party, emphasised the strategic importance of the Zone and the need for robust representation that comprehends the unique challenges within the party structure.
He highlighted his extensive experience as a grassroots mobiliser, having served as a youth leader and ward secretary, which has equipped him with the skills necessary to advocate effectively for the party’s interests.
In his letter, Hon. Ajiya stated, “Having been an active member of the PDP and a committed advocate for our party’s ideals, I am motivated to contribute to the growth and success of our party at the National Level. The North Central Zone holds a strategic importance, and it is imperative that we have strong representation that understands the unique challenges of the party structure.”
He further outlined his vision for the North Central Zone, focusing on positive representation, equity, and progress within the party.
Hon. Ajiya called on party members to join him in building a prosperous and vibrant future, aiming to reclaim power from the ruling party.
As the 2027 general elections approach, Hon. Ajiya expressed his commitment to fostering unity, inclusivity, and progress within the PDP and beyond.
He seeks the support of his fellow party members in this endeavour, emphasising the importance of strengthening the party’s impact in the North Central Zone.
“I kindly seek your support and that of my fellow members in this endeavour, as we work towards strengthening our party’s impact in the North Central Zone,” he wrote.
Hon. Ajiya’s declaration of intent has been met with anticipation as party members look forward to discussing his vision and plans for the future. His candidacy is expected to bring a renewed focus on grassroots mobilization and strategic representation within the PDP.
