The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Hajiya Sadiya Farouk, on Tuesday commiserated with Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta and traders on the recent fire incident at Ogbeogonogo Market in Asaba, the state capital.
The minister, who was accompanied by Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Mr Festus Keyamo (SAN) and Deneral General of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), commended the state government for the prompt response to the disaster, and assured that Federal Government would provide relief materials to the state for distribution to affected traders, to cushion the effect of the losses on them.
