A petrol station is on fire at Nnewi area of Anambra State.
The Senior Special Adviser (SSA) to the state Governor on NUPENG Petroleum and Union Matters, Hon. Comrade Peter Nwosu, in a statement said he is on ground with Anambra State Fire Service and Security agencies to curtail the inferno.
Hon. Nwosu assured Ndị Anambra living in Nnewi not to panic as the situation is under control.
He further assured that the Chief Willie Obiano administration “is committed to protecting the lives and properties of Ndị Anambra.
He restated that a full scale investigation will be carried out to unravel the root cause of the inferno and to avert any further occurrence.
