CNPP Congratulates Hope Uzodinma On His Relection As Imo State Governor
Conference Of Nigeria Political Parties (CNPP) has congratulated the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the November 11 governorship election in Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma, on his re-election.
The incumbent Governor defeated his challengers as declared by the Vice Chancellor of the Federal University, Oye Ekiti, Prof Abayomi Fashina, who was the state Returning Officer.
In a statement signed by the Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the umbrella association of all registered political parties and political associations in Nigeria, James Ezema, the CNPP noted that “Senator Uzodinma’s victory was predicted many times in the course of the electioneering process.
“We therefore congratulate the winner of the 2023 governorship election in Imo State, Governor Hope Uzodinma”, the CNPP stated.
According to the CNPP, “politics is a game of numbers and only one winner can emerge in a contest of this nature.
“We urge members of the public to maintain the peace while any aggrieved party or individual should explore legal options to seek redress”, the CNPP said.
